A nice and moody cocoon lamp made by Goldkant Leuchten in the 60s. The model name of this lamp is "Garbo" which stands for glamour and style. Comparable cocoon lamps were produced by the Italian lighting producer Flos and the Dutch Raak Amsterdam. The technique for producing the lampshade was conceived by George Nelson in the 1940s, in which liquid vinyl is sprayed onto a frame like a thread. The frame is wrapped like a cocoon by the wires, with the wires eventually merging into one. A stylish lamp which fits nicely in every contemporary style. Marked on the shade and under the base with the original markings which guarantees that it is an original lamp from the 60s by Goldkant Leuchten.
