DESCRIPTION
Ritual Pole in hardwood representing a figure sitting on an elephant. Their bodies are in the same alignment. This is a commemorative pole for a festivity of merit.
Burma (Myanmar), north or northeast region, Kachin or Wa peoples, middle of the 20th century. It is mounted on a custom-made stand in steel. Very decorative object.
Height without stand: 65 cm.
Height, including the stand: 72 cm.
CONDITION
Average condition, erosions, cracks, which do not spoil its charm (have a look at the pictures).
It will be carefully packaged and sent by insured mail with track & trace via Bpost.
