Set composed of 5 Boxes of Asian origin
The first box measures 5.4 cm high and 9 cm of diameter, it is in lacquerware, very likely from Vietnam.
The second box measures 3.2 high and 9.7 cm of diameter, it is in brass, very likely from Japan.
The third box measures 5 cm high and 13.5 cm of diameter, it is in lacquerware and presents a decoration of birds and mother-of-pearl, Japan; CAUTION: very bad condition, many restorations and lacks (have a look at the pictures).
The fourth box measures 6 cm high and 8.2 cm of diameter, it is in lacquerware and is decorated with herons and a tree of happiness, Japan, approximately the 19th century.
The lid is good condition, but presents a crack on the lower part (have a look at the pictures).
The fifth box measures 17 cm high and 7 cm of diameter, it is a miniature Hsun Ok (Offerings’ box), middle of the 20th century.
The latter will be carefully packaged and sent by insured mail with track & trace via Bpost.
